This week in Eng11

We're taking up the Elephant stories Feb 9-12. Ernest Hemingway's "Hills Like White Elephants on Monday, and Fran Ng's "White Elephants Like Hills" on Thursday.

Online sources you might want to consult on the stories: (1) From
Suite University; (2) Lit Database.

We've started the focused reading discussions last week with Aida Rivera-Ford's "The Chieftest Mourner." It went rather well, considering that we were only a handful. Your story assignments are posted in the e-groups so just check it out if you still don't know what story you will be responsible for.
